Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Director of Operational Excellence (Finance) to lead the development and site-wide deployment of the Aerospace Operating System, driving transformational improvements across procurement, planning, production, and logistics.

You will coach leaders, shape the AOS roadmap, and partner with site leadership to enable scalable implementation, while advancing a culture of accountability and performance.

Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing and Operating Systems principles applied in practice.
• Project management experience on strategic and tactical change projects.
• Ability to influence frontline employees, site leadership, and executives.
• Ability to travel to other locations for training or project support (limited).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, prioritize, and organize improvement events and AOS courses to create value for the unit.
• Lead strategic and operational business challenges.
• Foster a continuous improvement mindset using AOS methods and tools.
• Support and orchestrate the Hoshin Kanri process for the site.
• Drive productivity generation activities.
• Coach peers and managers on adopting AOS.
• Lead Agile and Lean mindset initiatives.
• Share success stories and recognize stakeholders to advance AOS.
• Orchestrate AOS community and enablers; drive qualifications.
• Collaborate with the AOS office to execute strategy.
• Lead change management across the employee population.
