Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Director of Operational Excellence (AOS Leader) in Minneapolis, MN to guide AOS implementation, coach leaders, and embed Lean/Agile practices across the Engines & Power organization. You will align leadership, coordinate improvements, and expand AOS enterprise-wide.

Responsibilities include leading improvement events, driving strategic challenges, and fostering a continuous improvement culture with data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven project management experience in strategic and tactical initiatives.
• 4+ years of leadership in Lean manufacturing, lean supply chain, or strategic change.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and Agile Management; experience with AOS.
• Master Practitioner level in fundamental Lean tools.
• Experience leading Kaizen events and coaching change initiatives.
• Proven Lean manufacturing implementation and change management.
• Experience guiding teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and tactical AOS initiatives to improve performance.
• Coach leaders and embed Lean/Agile practices across the organization.
• Coordinate Improvement Events and manage key business challenges.
• Collaborate with global AOS community to deploy enterprise-wide strategy.
• Establish and grow the AOS team and ensure consistent methodology.
