Job summary

Newsmax is seeking an experienced talent coordinator to manage on-air talent scheduling, contracts, wardrobe, and day-to-day needs. You will coordinate with talent, agents, legal, production, programming, HR and other teams to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to manage complex schedules in a fast-paced environment, including coverage of breaking news and special programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in television, broadcast media, or talent coordination preferred.
• Experience with scheduling, contract administration, and production coordination preferred.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key point of contact for Newsmax on-air talent regarding scheduling, contracts, wardrobe, and day-to-day needs.
• Coordinate communication between talent, agents, Legal, Production, Programming, HR, and internal teams.
• Manage daily and weekly talent schedules; handle substitutions and special programming assignments.
• Assist with administration of on-air talent agreements and contract-related documentation.
• Coordinate with Legal and talent reps to facilitate contract paperwork and signatures.
• Maintain accurate records of talent agreements, contract dates, renewals, and schedules.
• Track milestones and communicate upcoming expirations or actions to leadership.
• Coordinate wardrobe appointments, fittings, styling schedules for on-air talent.
• Work with Production and Programming to coordinate talent needs for regular programming and network events.
• Lead contract discussions and negotiations in coordination with senior management.
