Job summary

Jobot seeks a Director of Occupational Health to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of an on-site health program for construction sites. You will drive health strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with safety and HR teams to maintain a healthy workforce.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in occupational health within construction, strong leadership, excellent communication, and a hands-on approach to improve worker well-being across multiple sites in Southlake

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Medicine or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in occupational health management, preferably in construction.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations for construction.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with MS Office and OH management software.
• OH Nursing or Industrial Hygiene certification desirable.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the occupational health program across sites.
• Conduct audits and inspections to identify health hazards and mitigate risks.
• Oversee injuries and illnesses care, first aid, treatment, and rehab.
• Coordinate health trainings with safety teams and site managers.
• Maintain relationships with external healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with HR to develop health policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on OH&S legislation, trends and best practices.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management.
