The Director of Nursing / Branch Director role will oversee the operations of our hospice agency in Kennesaw, GA, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance with Medicare regulations. This role provides leadership, guidance, and support to clinical and non-clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. We seek a visionary leader with strong clinical expertise, organizational skills, and a passion for hospice care.
The Hospice Branch Director is a Registered Nurse managing all aspects of terminal care, with expertise in pain and symptom management and hospice nursing experience. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing documentation, overseeing service coordination and case management, and maintaining effective communication. The director also supervises daily office and clinical operations, plans and coordinates interdisciplinary team interventions, assigns staff to patients, and participates in community awareness and education programs.
