We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of Nursing. Please submit a detailed resume for consideration.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Planning, organizing, developing, and directing the nursing department to ensure high-quality care in accordance with standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Serving as a member of the community leadership team.
• Determining staffing needs and scheduling duty hours.
• Conducting daily rounds to oversee staff performance.
• Participating in surveys by government agencies.
• Reviewing nurses’ notes for accuracy and completeness.
• Participating in the assessment and admission of residents.
• Making rounds with physicians as necessary.
• Performing administrative duties such as completing reports, evaluations, and charting.
• Monitoring quality and survey reports and developing corrective action plans.
• Developing and conducting in-service training to ensure a well-educated nursing team.
• Maintaining adequate supplies and equipment, using resources efficiently.
• Creating individualized care plans for residents, identifying needs, goals, and responsible professionals.

Requirements:

• Current active Ohio RN or LPN license.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting such as a residential care facility, assisted living, hospital, or nursing care facility.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate care, nursing practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Leadership and supervisory abilities, with a collaborative approach.
• Ability to develop and implement care programs, policies, and procedures.
