Job summary

Aspen Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Massachusetts seeks a Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations, ensure high-quality resident care, and drive strategic initiatives across the facility.

The role requires an MA RN license, a nursing degree (preferred), and at least 3 years of supervisory nursing experience. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, active, and unencumbered RN license in MA.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college/university preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in hospital or nursing care center or related healthcare setting.
• Supervision, leadership, and staff development experience required.
• Rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices and regulatory standards for long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a staffing plan reflecting department needs and supports safe, high-quality resident care.
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor, evaluate, and enhance nursing care quality.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with residents, families, staff, and interdisciplinary team.
• Partner with Administrator to ensure high-quality, person-centered care aligned with goals.
• Develop, implement, manage, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures per regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff for growth and teamwork.
• Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives for nursing services.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and clinical standards governing nursing facilities.
