Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to guide and support nursing staff while shaping the care experience for residents.

The DON will lead with integrity, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster clinical excellence on the floor as needed. The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience in geriatric care, and a solid understanding of nursing home regulations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas
• Proven leadership in long-term care or geriatric nursing
• Strong clinical skills and restorative care approach
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance of nursing staff
• Step in on the floor to support direct care and maintain high-quality care
• Review payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance
• Maintain resident records and ensure proper documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
• Ensure nursing staff have timely access to equipment and supplies
• Coach, mentor, and support nursing staff to improve performance and outcomes
