Job summary

Apploi in Springfield, IL seeks a Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing Department and drive clinical excellence for our residents. The DON will oversee operations, mentor staff, and ensure nursing practices reflect our mission and values.

You will collaborate with the Medical Director, Case Managers, and other professionals to develop care plans, manage staffing and workflows, and ensure regulatory compliance and quality metrics. A RN license and senior leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Senior leadership or nursing administration experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Nursing Department, ensuring nursing practices align with organization's mission and values.
• Collaborate with Medical Director, Case Managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Oversee daily nursing operations including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality metrics.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and education programs to promote excellence in nursing practice.
• Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth.
