Avenues at Springfield is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the Nursing Department, ensuring high quality care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. The DON will plan, organize, develop, and direct day-to-day functions, coordinating with resident services to maintain the seamless regimen of care.

The role requires a nursing degree and an active Illinois RN license, with preferred 3 years of supervisor healthcare experience.

Formación

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current Illinois unencumbered license to practice as a RN.
• 3 years of experience in a supervisor healthcare role, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct day-to-day nursing department functions per current standards.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for complete care.
• Perform administrative duties such as forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
• Ensure adequate staffing, medications, and safety equipment for each shift.
