Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the Nursing Department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards and delivering high-quality care in our long-term care facility in Illinois.

The DON will plan, organize, and direct daily operations, supervise licensed staff, coordinate with resident services, and oversee documentation and regulatory adherence. Strong leadership and RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current Illinois RN license in good standing.
• 3 years of supervisor healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct nursing department daily functions.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuous care.
• Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
• Ensure sufficient licensed staff and proper medications and safety equipment on each shift.
