Job summary

PACS Group, Inc. is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) in Valley, Alabama. The DON will oversee the nursing department, provide direct resident care as needed, and ensure high-quality care across all shifts.

Responsibilities include policy development, staff training, regulatory compliance, QA participation, and coordination with physicians and families. A BSN is preferred and 7+ years of nursing management experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred.
• Must be in good standing with State Nursing Board and maintain continuing education/licensing.
• Minimum of 7 years nurse management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire nursing department and staffing levels.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
• Ensure resident safety and respectful care; conduct in-services for clinical staff.
• Recruit, hire and train nursing staff; coordinate pharmacy services and medication disposal.
