Better Home Care is a provider of a variety of services from visits to shifts for technology-dependent, medically unstable, or vulnerable individuals in their residence, enabling them to live as independently as possible. BHC is a Medicare/Medicaid certified and Joint Commission accredited agency, offering comprehensive home care services in Greater Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery counties.

The Director of Nursing provides leadership in developing nursing procedures and patient care policies to support the clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all licensed and client care is physician-directed as per current standards: federal, state, or local regulation.
• Oversee all home care services, review care plans, supervise implementation, coordination, maintenance, evaluation, and termination of care plans and services.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with a current license to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Preferably hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing with at least two years of supervisory experience in home health.
• Knowledge of federal, PA regulations, and JCAHO accreditation standards.

• Ability to implement the nursing process across settings.
• Leadership and supervisory expertise in Home Health.
• Ability to work effectively in a bilingual team environment.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English communication.
