Overview

The ideal candidate for the Director of Nursing Float position is detail-oriented, organized, knowledgeable of policies and governmental regulations, and passionate about supporting and training stakeholders to provide the best possible care. The role requires travel to assigned sites Monday through Friday.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Manage the overall operations of the Nursing Department during the absence of a Facility Director of Nursing, ensuring compliance with company policies, standards of nursing practices, reimbursement guidelines, and governmental regulations to maintain excellent resident care.
• Respond to situations requiring additional resources or oversight, focusing on process improvement, systems validation, and correction. Assist with developing and implementing job skills training and in-service education as required by state and federal regulations.

What You Need to Make a Difference

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the ability to obtain multi-state licensures.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 80% - 90% of the time, with overnight stays.
