Overview

The ideal candidate for the Director of Nursing Float position is highly detail-oriented, organized, well-versed in policies and governmental regulations, and passionate about supporting and training stakeholders to deliver exceptional resident care. The role requires travel to assigned sites Monday through Friday.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Manage the operations of the Nursing Department during the absence of a Facility Director of Nursing, ensuring compliance with company policies, standards of nursing practices, reimbursement, and governmental regulations to provide excellent resident care.
• Respond to situations requiring additional resources or oversight, focusing on process improvement, system validation, and correction. Assist in developing and implementing training and in-service education as mandated by state and federal regulations.

What You Need to Make a Difference

• Current RN licensure with the ability to obtain multi-state licenses.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to travel 80-90% with overnight stays.
