Position Summary

As Director of Nursing (DON), you will be responsible for the overall quality clinical outcomes of the community. Your priorities will include quality care, customer service, and employee relations. Additionally, you will manage regulatory compliance, attract and retain top talent, and supervise and coach staff members.

We seek an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our caregiving team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of nursing care, valuing safety, security, and patient wellness above all. Our goal is to provide exceptional care and ensure patient satisfaction in every interaction. The DON must embody these values in their staff at all times.

Posted Salary Range

USD $110,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support nursing practices, philosophy, objectives, and standards; participate in revisions to ensure quality care for all patients/residents.
• Implement and oversee patient/resident care planning in accordance with needs, policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be a skilled communicator, leader, and motivator.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Desire to improve residents' and staff’s lives.
• Minimum of 4+ years as a Director of Nursing (DON) in long-term care with a stable work history and dedication.
• RN license in the state of residency; BSN preferred.
• Proven ability to maintain positive relationships with employees and the community.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• Knowledge of reimbursement regulations, nursing practices, and procedures.
• Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and standards mandated by federal, state, and local authorities.
• Capable of responding appropriately to emergency situations.
