Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to provide visionary leadership, ensure clinical excellence, and foster a culture of compassion and quality for our residents, families, and staff.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary and benefits while you guide daily operations, regulatory compliance, policy development, QA initiatives, and staff mentorship to sustain top-tier resident care.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license is required.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive nursing leadership in Long-Term Care.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop clinical teams; strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and oversight of daily Nursing Department operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead Quality Assurance initiatives to maintain the highest standards of resident care.
• Prepare for and participate in facility surveys and regulatory inspections.
• Conduct regular rounds to assess performance, resident well-being, and compliance.
• Mentor, coach, and empower nursing staff to achieve professional and organizational goals.
