Job summary

Aston Group in Florida is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and drive excellent resident care and strong clinical outcomes. The DON oversees nursing operations, supports staff development, ensures licensure and regulatory compliance, mentors the team, and partners with interdisciplinary staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
• Current RN licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Participation in the on‑call schedule is required.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Strong knowledge of nursing regulations, compliance, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience managing budgets and departmental operations.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and healthcare technology.

Responsibilities
