Job description

Aventura at Creekside a highly respected Skilled Nursing Facility located in Carbondale, PA, is seeking a passionate, experienced, and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON), RN to lead our clinical team.

The DON, RN will oversee all aspects of nursing services to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents in compliance with all regulatory standards.

Director Of Nursing, RN Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS guidelines
• Coordinate care delivery to ensure resident needs are met with dignity and compassion
• Manage nursing schedules, staffing levels, and performance evaluations
• Oversee infection control and quality assurance programs
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, residents, families, and physicians
• Lead and participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences
• Prepare for and respond to surveys, audits, and inspections

Director Of Nursing, RN Qualifications:

• Current RN license in PA
• 2 years in nurse management in hospital, long-term care facility, or other healthcare related facility
• Strong knowledge of nursing best practices, regulatory compliance, and resident rights
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop clinical teams
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
