Job summary

Community Health Partnership of Illinois seeks an experienced Director of Nursing to provide leadership and oversight of nursing and clinical operations across CHP locations.

The DON will supervise clinical staff, oversee programs, ensure regulatory compliance, support quality initiatives, and maintain high standards of patient care and safety. Collaboration with Medical Directors and leadership is essential for strengthening clinical operations and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required or equivalent experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission accreditation standards and PCMH certification requirements.
• Understanding of healthcare regulations and medical terminology.
• Oversee clinical operations while maintaining patient safety and compliance.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff and clinical support personnel.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and daily nursing operations across CHP locations.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and professional development.
• Foster a collaborative work environment among staff, providers, and leadership.
• Lead clinical programs and policies, monitor quality improvement and safety.
• Ensure accreditation readiness and regulatory compliance across CHP sites.
• Oversee infection prevention, life safety, and documentation.
