Job summary

Clearbrook is seeking a Director of Nursing for the Rolling Meadows facility. This full-time role oversees nursing services for clients in an Intermediate Care Facility, provides medication administration training, and ensures compliance with DHS guidelines and sound medical practices.

The DON will delegate tasks, evaluate outcomes, plan client programming, and coordinate with other ICF nurses. A nursing diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, with at least 2 years of related

Director of NursingLocation: Rolling Meadows, ILHours: Full-time, 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. On call pickup shifts as needed by facilitySalary: $95,000Clearbrook is a non-profit, social services agency that is dedicated to providing innovative services, tools and opportunities to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as Autism and Down Syndrome.As the Director of Nursing (DON) at Clearbrook, you will have the responsibility to provide nursing services to clients at the Commons, an Intermediate Care Facility, in accordance with their needs. Provide medication administration training to employees per DHS guidelines and maintain caseload in accordance with Rule 116 and sound medical practices. The DON has responsibility for the integrity of the medical services of the program.Essential Functions:1. Delegation of administration of medications and/or treatments to qualified competent, trained personnel as ordered by physician for clients on caseload.2. Monitor, direct, guide and evaluate outcomes of each delegated task.3. Participate as needed in the planning and implementation of client programming. Attend client staffings as needed.4. Coordinate clients’ nursing needs with other ICF nurses.5. Detect signs of illness, dysfunction, or maladaptive behavior that warrant medical, nursing, or psychosocial intervention.
