Job summary

Marquis Place of Elkhorn, a Sonida Senior Living community, seeks a Wellness Director to lead resident care operations.

The role oversees policy implementation, coordinates health-related services, and maintains regulatory compliance while collaborating with healthcare professionals and the care team.

Qualifications

• Licensed or Registered Nurse with experience in in-home health or geriatric nursing.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience coordinating health-related services and policy implementation.

Responsibilities

• Assures implementation of policies and procedures relating to Resident care.
• Directs and coordinates activities in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Interacts with health care professionals and residents’ providers.
• Performs tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Wellness Director Responsibilities include:

• Assures implementation of policies and procedures relating to Resident care and oversight of all health-related services.
• Manages, coordinates and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
• Establishes working relationship with health care professionals in the community to include interactions with the Residents’ health care providers.
• Manages, coordinates, and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Licensed or Registered Nurse with a minimum of at least three to five years in-home health or geriatric nursing in a similar position.
• A minimum of two to four years of supervisory experience required.
