Job summary

Linden Woods Village in Missouri seeks a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee the nursing function in a Continuing Care Retirement Community. You will supervise nursing staff, manage regulatory compliance, and partner with physicians to coordinate resident care.

The DON leads budget, staffing, and on-call rotations, ensuring high-quality care and staff development. A current RN license and CPR certification are required, with 3–5 years of supervisory experience in geriatrics preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state with CEU requirements.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a geriatric setting.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all nursing staff and ensures quality resident care meets regulatory standards.
• Oversees nursing department budget and nurse leadership positions.
• Participates in hiring, onboarding, training and staff development.
• May assume daily facility operations in Executive Director's absence.
• Maintains communication with physicians, residents and families about plan of care.
