Job summary

Onyx Health Consulting seeks an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead its skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. The DON will drive resident outcomes, mentor staff, and foster a culture of dignity, safety, and exceptional care.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with OBRA and Joint Commission standards, leading quality improvement and infection prevention, and collaborating with administration to meet residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment and CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum of four years of nursing administration experience.
• Two years of acute care nursing experience.
• Leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of OBRA, Joint Commission standards, and nursing home regulations.
• Subacute and geriatric experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or health administration preferred but not required.
