RAM Recruiting seeks a Director of Nursing (DON) for a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in North Miami, FL. The DON will lead the nursing department, supervise RNs/LPNs/CNAs, and ensure high-quality resident care with strong documentation and survey readiness.

Requirements include an active Florida RN license, DON or ADON experience in SNF/LTC, 3+ years tenure, and bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year, full time.

A skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in North Miami, FL, is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department. Backed by an established, multi-facility Florida organization, gives a Director of Nursing (DON) the resources and support to build and run a strong team. Prior nursing home experience is required.

The right Director of Nursing (DON) is easygoing with high standards: kind with residents and families, tight with the supervisors, and sharp on documentation and rehospitalization rates. At least 2 years of DON experience required.

Director of Nursing (DON) Duties

• Lead, develop and retain the nursing team: supervisors, Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

• Drive down rehospitalizations and hospital returns through close clinical oversight

• Partner daily with nursing supervisors on operations and staffing

• Ensure accurate, complete clinical documentation and survey readiness

• Serve as the clinical point of contact for residents and families

Director of Nursing (DON) Compensation and Schedule

• Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year

Director of Nursing (DON) Qualifications

• Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Director of Nursing (DON) experience in a nursing home, or a long-tenured Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) ready to step up

• Must have experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting

• Stable tenure in prior roles (3+ years per role)

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
