About The Role

The Director of Nursing of Hazelwood and Bingham Gardens ICF will oversee the nursing staff and ensure high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include developing nursing policies, managing budgets, staffing, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Required Education And Experience

• Bachelor degree in Nursing and a valid RN license issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or a state Nursing Board in a “Compact State Agreement”.
• 5+ years of managerial experience in the medical field

Preferred Education And Experience

• Master’s Degree in related field
• Experience working with IDD / Mental health populations

Position Details

This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional flex hours, evening, and/or weekend work.

Essential Functions

Includes supervising nursing staff, overseeing staffing at multiple facilities, conducting observations, developing policies, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance, and participating in management meetings.

Supervisory Responsibility

Supervises the Nursing Department.

Physical Demands

Requires talking, hearing, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, and specific vision abilities.

Travel

Up to 25% travel required.
