Job summary

Edgerton Care Center is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the nursing department, set clinical standards, drive performance, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will coach leaders, influence strategy, and elevate care across the community.

The role reports to executive leadership and requires a decisive, visible leader who fosters a high-performing team with a focus on quality outcomes and compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Wisconsin or eligible for reciprocity
• Experience in long-term care leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of CMS survey processes and regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Summary:

As Director of Nursing at Edgerton Care Center, you will lead the strategic direction and operational excellence of the nursing department. You will set clinical standards, drive performance, and ensure regulatory compliance while developing, coaching, and holding leaders accountable for exceptional outcomes. Partnering closely with executive leadership, you will influence organizational strategy, champion quality initiatives, and build a high-performing nursing team aligned with Edgerton’s mission. This role calls for a decisive, visible leader who inspires confidence, strengthens culture, and elevates care across the community.

• $120,000.00– $135,000.00annual salarydependent on experienceand education

Qualifications:

• CurrentRegistered Nurse (RN)license in Wisconsin (required)or licensed in any U.S state and be eligible for Wisconsin licensure by reciprocity.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience
• Minimum of 2 years nursing leadership experiencein long-term care
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and survey processes
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire clinical teams
• Must be English literate andExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• CPR certified
• Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements
