Job summary

Emerald Nursing & Rehab Columbus in Columbus, NE is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team and drive resident-centered care. You will oversee nursing services, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance while building high-performing teams.

This full-time role (8am-5pm, Monday–Friday) includes on-call rotation; you will mentor staff, promote safety, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Nebraska (or eligible for licensure).
• Leadership experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build and mentor high-performing nursing teams.
• Experience driving quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.
