Job summary

Emerald Nursing & Rehab Columbus in Columbus, NE is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead the nursing team and drive resident-centered care.

This full-time role from 8am-5pm with on-call rotation focuses on quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, staff development, and interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance safety and satisfaction.

The DON will mentor staff, monitor KPIs, and partner with the Administrator to create a positive, high-performing culture.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Nebraska (or eligible for licensure).
• Leadership experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute care preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing clinical teams and improving quality outcomes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
