Job summary

Opis-Senior-Services-Grou is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing team in delivering exceptional resident care and achieving strong clinical outcomes.

The DON will oversee nursing operations, support staff development, and promote a positive work environment while ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Current RN licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Participation in the on‑call schedule is required.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Strong knowledge of nursing regulations, compliance, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience managing budgets and departmental operations.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and healthcare technology.

Responsibilities
