Park Ave Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate and professional Director of Nursing responsible for leading and managing the Nursing Department. The role involves working with Unit Managers and the Administrator to drive the overall success of the facility.

Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing:

1. Supervise all nursing staff within the facility
2. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
3. Oversee hiring and ongoing employment of nursing staff
4. Ensure adequate staffing and current staff skills
5. Oversee nursing employee conduct
6. Monitor incidents at the facility
7. Assess the health needs of residents

Requirements of the Director of Nursing:

1. Valid MA RN license
2. Strong clinical background and knowledge
3. Previous experience as a Director of Nursing in a long-term care facility
4. Proven leadership and management skills
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
