Job summary

Iris Energy in San Francisco is seeking a Director, Manufacturing Engineering to lead the engineering discipline that defines factory-tested modules and field-built approaches across electrical, mechanical, and systems.

You will build and mentor the Manufacturing Engineering teams, establish DfMA standards, BOM governance, and drive off-site, modular delivery to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets for our data-center portfolio.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical, mechanical, or structural engineering with DfMA/modular design experience.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams through modular/off-site delivery.
• Experience with BIM-to-fabrication workflows, digital twin tools, and BOM/PLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Own DfMA design standards across mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural systems.
• Establish module interface standards and field tie-in procedures for predictable site integration.
• Maintain and expand kit-of-parts library for configurable modules across site typologies.
