Job summary

The Aspen Art Museum seeks a Head of Membership & Individual Giving to lead the growth of the Museum’s membership and annual giving programs in Aspen. Reporting to the Deputy Director, Advancement, this role manages the full membership journey—from acquisition to upgrades—and develops engaging programs, events, and travel that connect members to contemporary art.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in membership, annual giving, fundraising, development, or related fields.
• Proven success growing a membership program or donor base.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to plan and execute engaging member events.
• Analytical skills with CRM data and budgets.
• Interest in contemporary art and Aspen Art Museum mission.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for membership and annual giving across levels from $50 to $10,000.
• Set annual goals for membership households, revenue, acquisition, retention, renewals, upgrades.
• Own the full membership journey from prospect to upgrade.
• Develop distinctive member programming, events, and travel.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop campaigns and measure performance.
• Manage budget for membership and annual giving.
