Job summary

SEMA, a leading nonprofit trade association for the automotive aftermarket and motorsports industries, seeks a senior role to drive member engagement and council development. Qualifications

• Five or more years of management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field is strongly recommended.
• Experience managing volunteer boards and committees.
• Experience planning and executing in-person and virtual events.
• Project development and management experience preferred.
• Effective supervisory and leadership skills.
• Experience in a not-for-profit setting with volunteers.
• Travel requirements up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as category expert and advocate for the association at industry events.
• Develop and grow strategic member groups.
• Lead volunteer councils and networks toward annual goals.
• Research and assist in developing programs to market and maintain segments.
• Coordinate annual council elections and governance activities.
• Plan and execute in-person and virtual events for members.
• Provide regular progress reports on goals and budgets.
• Oversee council activities and volunteer resources.
