ADVATIX - Advanced Supply Chain and Logistics seeks a Director of Mechanical Engineering to lead its mechanical engineering discipline within the Architecture and Engineering unit. The role oversees operations, project and program management, business development, and client relationships, with a team of ~35 and 6–7 direct reports.

The position offers remote work or hybrid options across North America and requires a P.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Minimum of 15 years of mechanical engineering project/program management in A/E/C.
• Minimum of 8 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience supporting commercial programs, multi-site environments.
• Strong business development and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mechanical Engineering consulting process and oversee activities, projects, and personnel.
• Serve as a primary contact for clients and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Ensure effective communication with clients and deliver high-quality services.
• Lead business development, marketing, events, and cross-office collaborations.
• Develop and maintain strategies to grow the mechanical engineering practice.
• Contribute to sales forecasting and financial/operational planning.
• Oversee program investigations, proposals, and contracts with clients.
