Job summary

Southern Healthcare Management is seeking an experienced RN to join our team as an MDS Coordinator. You will develop, implement and coordinate the RAI process while ensuring compliance with professional standards, physician orders, policies, and state/federal regulations.

Active RN licensure is required. Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, OBRA, and MDS/RAI processes is preferred, or prior long-term care nursing experience. We offer flexible schedules, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, LTC payer systems, OBRA, the RAI process, and the MDS process preferred OR prior nursing in a long-term care facility.

• Develop, implement and coordinate the RAI process to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with standards and policies.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, company policies and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.

As an MDS Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring the center stays in compliance with current professional practice standards, physician's orders, company policies and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.

Entry Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse RN licensure in the state of practice required
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, LTC payer systems, the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA), the RAI process, and the MDS process preferred OR prior nursing in a long-term care facility
