Publicis Commerce, based in the U.S. Midwest, is seeking a Director, Project Management to lead day-to-day workflow and cross-functional collaboration for marketing campaigns.

The role supports a hybrid schedule from Detroit or Chicago and requires strong budgeting, timelines, and leadership across teams. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in marketing/advertising, agency or project management experience, and a track record of delivering complex programs on time and in scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business or related field.
• 10+ years of marketing or advertising experience; agency or project management background preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage time, adhere to strict timelines, multitask and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management and execution of all workflow in collaboration with key Agency cross-functional teams.
• Help prioritize projects and deliverables.
• Maintain cross-functional team schedules and manage resourcing/workflow.
• Develop project critical paths and timelines.
• Manage job jackets and job-level budgets, ensuring programs stay within estimated hours and costs.
• Collaborate with Finance to support billing and budget management.
• Maintain and update necessary reporting.
• Ensure quality control and mitigate risk.
• Act as internal systems expert and keeper of processes.
• Oversee billing and workflow systems and provide training/implementation.
• Contribute to ongoing process refinements and ways of working.
