The University of California, Berkeley's Berkeley Law seeks an experienced advancement professional to design, develop, deliver and administer fundraising programs. This role advances major gifts strategies, cultivates donor prospects, and prepares gift instruments ranging from moderate to high complexity while collaborating with the Dean and faculty.

The position manages a portfolio with capacity to give $25,000 to $1,000,000+, travels to meet donors, writes proposals, and coordinates with UDAR

Qualifikationen

• Advanced knowledge of fundraising, donor relations, and public relations.
• Advanced knowledge of UC Berkeley and Berkeley Law and its fundraising environment.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with political acumen.
• Ability to meet fundraising goals and manage donor portfolios.
• Experience coordinating with senior leaders and faculty on gift solicitations.

Aufgaben

• Plans, organizes, and directs large-scale fundraising campaigns for Berkeley Law.
• Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards major gift prospects ($25k–$1M+).
• Travels to meet donors and represents Berkeley Law at events.
• Writes complex proposals for individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
• Oversees fundraising programs and coordinates cross-campus campaigns with UDAR.
