Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of progressive fundraising experience managing current and prospective donors seven figures and above.
• Expert working knowledge of fundraising, donor relations, and public relations concepts and techniques.
• Demonstrated experience building and managing a prospect portfolio and closing multi-million dollar gifts.
• Experience leading complex gift strategies with institutional executives and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management – manage 30 to 60 high-capacity donors to meet annual fundraising goals.
• Prospect Strategy – write fundraising proposals and materials for principal gift level donors with leadership sign-off.
• Supporting Campus Leadership – educate senior leadership to engage with donors and identify transformational gift opportunities.
• Events – attend functions and represent Berkeley at events and committees.
