Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science (MLIS) from an ALA-accredited program or equivalent.
• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Professional experience as a librarian in an academic setting.
• Experience developing information literacy content and programming.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Library Services aligned with the College's vision and student success initiatives.
• Lead and support library staff through performance evaluations, training, and guidance.
• Develop and justify budget requests; determine staffing, equipment, and resources to support priorities.
• Interpret library statistics and prepare reports for state, national agencies, accreditation applications and responses.
• Lead development of technology literacy and AI skills, connecting tools to teaching, learning, and research.
• Build campus partnerships and serve on College committees to strengthen educational programs.
