Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited program.
  • Five years of related experience in library services and administration.
  • Three years of experience supervising direct reports, including coaching and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Develops goals and mission of the library and works with staff to meet the library’s objectives.
  • Directs operations of the campus library supporting TCC’s Learning Commons approach.
  • Contributes to planning and continuous improvement of services, technologies, and collections.
  • Manages departmental budgets and controls expenditures within approved budgets.
  • Revises guidelines to ensure efficient operation of the library.
  • Maintains library environments and plans for facilities needs.
  • Communicates with College constituents and community on library issues.
  • Engages with faculty, staff, students, and external organizations to promote learning services.
