Job summary

AmeriGas is seeking a seasoned Learning & Development leader to own the training lifecycle across the organization. You will design, deliver, and measure programs in collaboration with operations, safety, and compliance teams.

You will supervise training staff, ensure DOT/FMCSA and state requirements are met, and drive workforce capability, safety improvements, and profitable growth. The role requires strategic leadership and a track record of building scalable training ecosystems.

Qualifications

• BS in Business, Learning and Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience leading training functions and teams.
• Expertise in the ADDIE instructional design method.

Responsibilities

• Leads the training team with a multi-year learning strategy and KPIs for safety, technical, and regulatory requirements.
• Designs engaging training materials for technical and required standards.
• Maintains training records to ensure certification cycles are met and remain compliant.
• Measures training impact through assessments, behavior change, and business outcomes.
• Manages the annual training budget and reviews vendor/contract spend.
• Provides technical expertise to departments that build training for AmeriGas field locations.
