Job summary

The Training Specialist V (CTD Director) at Health & Human Services Commission is responsible for coordinating the CTD Department, designing and implementing campus training programs, and ensuring staff are trained to competency for each job duty. You will schedule curricula, coordinate education programs with Central Administration and local colleges, and produce required training reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and supervisory experience.
• Five years in developing policies/reports or curriculum/training materials.
• Three years' supervisory experience.
• Three years' training or teaching experience.
• Three years' experience in education of adults.
• Valid Texas driver license or able to obtain within 90 days.
• Certified trainer preferred.
• Immunization policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the CTD Department and training programs.
• Design, schedule, and evaluate facility training and curricula.
• Ensure staff trained to competence according to job duties.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual CTD reports.
• Attend meetings and provide supervision to staff.
