INSPIRE is seeking a Director of Event Technology to lead AV operations at The Renaissance Montgomery in Montgomery, AL. The role focuses on delivering premier event technology services, maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the venue and INSPIRE.

You will manage both full-time and part-time staff, coordinate with hotel teams, and ensure flawless setup and execution of corporate events with proactive collaboration with freelancers and vendors.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as AV director or supervisor.
• 3 years as primary technology expert for events.
• Sales or customer service experience in hospitality or event production.

Responsabilités

• Act as primary point of contact for INSPIRE to clients and hotel management.
• Interact with hotel staff to maintain mutually beneficial sales/service expectations.
• Manage daily setup and striking of audio visual equipment for meetings and major corporate events.
• Routinely interact and collaborate with freelancers to ensure timely event preparation.
• Handle all monthly billing and invoicing to ensure timely payments.
• Manage inventory control to track and account for equipment at all times.
