Benesch is hiring a Director of Knowledge Management in Chicago to establish and scale a modern KM function integrated with AI-enabled workflows. The role reports to senior leadership and collaborates across Practice Groups, Governance, IT, and Marketing to deliver client-focused knowledge assets.

Qualifications

JD strongly preferred and at least eight years of experience in legal knowledge management.
Ability to move beyond repository models toward active, technology-enabled knowledge function.
Experience translating client requirements into KM priorities and standards.

Responsibilities

Launch and lead the Knowledge Management function as a senior leader.
Partner with Practice Groups, Risk, Governance, IT, Finance, Marketing/BD to align KM with practice needs.
Define and oversee the knowledge curation lifecycle and taxonomy standards.
Support adoption of KM assets into practice workflows and client engagements.
