Job summary

State-of-Nevad is seeking a senior-level executive to lead Nevada’s juvenile justice programs across the Youth Parole Bureau, three state-operated facilities, and related offices.

The role requires extensive seniors-level management, policy oversight, and collaboration with courts, child welfare, behavioral health, and education partners to deliver a high standard of care for delinquent youth and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in juvenile justice, corrections, social services or related field.
• At least 3 years in supervisory capacity overseeing youth programs, staff, and facilities.
• Familiarity with data systems used for outcome tracking and federal reporting.
• Experience managing multi-site or regional operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, oversight and administration of statewide juvenile justice programming.
• Ensure high quality standards and coordination of Youth Parole Bureau and state facilities.
• Oversee policy development, implementation, compliance, and interagency collaboration.
• Manage budget, grants, contracts and legislative reporting; guide workforce development and unions.
