Job summary

Hippocratic AI Inc. is hiring a Director of IT & Workplace to own the employee technology platform and the physical environment.

You’ll lead strategy, budget, and a growing team, owning identity, endpoints, SaaS, and security posture while integrating acquired companies. You’ll oversee the HQ in Menlo Park and a distributed workforce, ensuring least-privilege access, vendor governance, and robust business continuity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT, spanning hands-on administration or engineering and progressively senior ownership.
• 3+ years managing IT or workplace teams, including hiring and performance management.
• Proven ownership of an IT function through rapid growth, with scalable systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Own a multi-year IT and workplace roadmap aligned with hiring plans and leadership.
• Manage operating and capital budgets, forecast spend, and defend funding requests.
• Lead, coach, and grow the IT/workplace team, define SLAs, and publish service levels.
• Own the identity platform (Okta), endpoints, SaaS portfolio, and networking with secure baselines.
• Drive platform migrations, office buildouts, and integration of acquired companies.
• Ensure HIPAA, SOC 2, and other controls through audits and evidence collection.
• Oversee facilities: HQ operations, space planning, security, and AV for demos and events.
