Job summary

Hippocratic AI is seeking a Director of IT & Workplace to own the employee technology platform and the physical environment across our Menlo Park HQ and distributed teams. You will lead a small team, set service levels, and align IT with the company’s growth and acquisitions.

You will own identity, endpoints, SaaS portfolios, and security posture while coordinating with Legal and Security on compliance and incident response.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT with hands-on to leadership experience.
• 3+ years managing IT or workplace teams with hiring and coaching.
• Proven ownership of IT in a rapidly growing environment with budget control.
• Experience as a named control owner for HIPAA/SOC 2/HITRUST audits.
• Strong vendor negotiation and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the employee technology platform and IT security posture.
• Oversee workplace operations, space planning, and AV for HQ and events.
• Define and manage multi-year IT & workplace roadmap and budget.
• Lead, coach, and grow the IT/workplace team.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness across HIPAA and SOC 2.
