Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Director of IT Services for the State of Mississippi, based in Jackson, MS. This onsite role leads enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud services, networking, service delivery, vendor management, and modernization initiatives under a 12‑month contract.

The director will partner with executive IT leadership to drive governance, resiliency, and service improvements while overseeing security controls and vendor performance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in IT, CS, MIS, or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience with enterprise operations and infrastructure.
• Proven leadership across enterprise IT infrastructure and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across enterprise IT infrastructure and services.
• Oversee enterprise cloud environments, including provisioning, governance, and cost optimization.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Lead enterprise networking and telecommunications operations, including LAN/WAN, DNS, load balancing, wireless, and UC.
