Job summary

ALSAC in Memphis seeks a Director of Technology Delivery & Portfolio Management to shape and execute the strategy for Agile Delivery, PMO, and Sourcing Integration across the organization. This leader drives Agile transformation, portfolio governance, project execution excellence, and vendor service delivery while ensuring technology investments align with mission outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years leading technology delivery, PMO, and Agile transformation.
• Strong understanding of application development, systems integration, databases, and enterprise environments.
• Proven experience leading Agile, PMO, and portfolio management in a complex organization.
• Deep knowledge of Agile principles, frameworks, methodologies, and transformation practices.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern software delivery approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution of Agile Delivery, PMO, and Sourcing Integration.
• Direct Agile delivery practices across the technology division, including team leadership and process optimization.
• Oversee the Technology PMO and successful delivery of the technology project portfolio (budget, scope, schedule, quality).
• Manage the enterprise technology portfolio: prioritization, resource allocation, budget oversight, dependencies, benefits realization, reporting.
• Utilize portfolio management disciplines to align initiatives with objectives and maximize value.
• Coordinate external technology service providers to meet SLAs and performance standards.
• Partner with Vendor Management and Service Management to address escalations and risks.
• Establish and improve delivery methodologies, tools, and practices; promote Agile maturity across the enterprise.
• Lead Agile communities of practice, coaching, workshops, and training programs.
• Oversee complex initiatives involving multiple units, teams, and vendors.
• Support capital budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance insights.
• Coordinate with the CIO on strategic planning and executive reporting.
• Support communications and employee engagement around technology initiatives.
• Evolve delivery models to leverage emerging technologies, including AI-driven opportunities.
